PROFESSIONAL HISTORY:
Founder and Creative Director, Wavpixlab Media LLC, October 2020 - Present
What started as a DJ collective on Twitch during the pandemic has evolved into a small media production company focused on assisting its artist members with their digital promotion and presence while also producing original media content for the web. In December of 2021 we formed an LLC for original content creation, and we continue to grow and bring value to our artist members. In early 2022, Wavpixlab became a Twitch Affiliate, and in this first year of production we have released two original animated music videos as well as episodic segments featuring our member artists discussing their process. One of these new releases is a second collaboration with Astral Summer, fully animated by me, Lucia (Love Yourself). This animation was nominated for Best Animation Film in the Cannes World Film Festival monthly juried competition in September of 2022.

Video Editor & Motion Graphics Animator (Freelance), Hunter Memorial Mural July 2020
Created short promotional video and animated banner for The Hunter Memorial Mural, a Chattanooga nonprofit organization. Project completed August 1, 2020. This is another organization I am always happy to pitch in and help. The Hunters’ message of compassion is practiced by this org every day. The Brewers have been a joy to work with.
Instructor (Volunteer), Twice As Good, Inc. February 2020 – Dec 2021
Created and launched a course in digital media content creation for Twice As Good, Inc. (a community learning project). The first round of classes were interrupted by the Covid lockdowns. I led and completed my media basics course online with Zoom, finishing up at the end of 2021. The project did not renew in 2022, but I am always happy to volunteer if they offer a new set of classes. I feel strongly that everyone needs media skills in the now!
Autodesk Maya Instructor, Georgia Media Workshops 2018 – 2019
Workshop-based instruction and tutoring for individual and corporate clients in Maya, Nuke, After Effects, Photoshop. I also provided content creation (video, motion graphics) for the company. My work with GMW never formally ended, but the business no longer appears to be active.

Provided digital compositing and animation for the documentary Thumbs Up for Mother Universe: The Lonnie Holley Story directed by George King. Created and composited backgrounds for shadow puppetry reflecting scenes from the artist's childhood.

Atlanta Photography Group (Exhibition) September 2016
Animated 93 photographs on exhibition for APG’s 2016 Goal Train Fundraiser. Used motion parallax animation and visual effects. Projection mapped this animated exhibit across the windows of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia throughout the event. Full video available on my portfolio.
Video Designer and Compositor, Song of Solomon, Seven Stages Atlanta Fringe Festival, June 2015
Created 55 minutes of in-show video content and a 15 minute preshow edited and composited from a mixture of original content and stock sources. Learned new software and equipment in 2 days to run the video from backstage, running the board blind without a monitor, just knowing the script – and nailed my cues. This experience helped me push my limits, overcome challenges, and grow professionally.
Visual Effects Consultant, The Twelve Lives of Sissy Carlyle, Fran Burst - Terranella 2012-2013
As VFX Consultant helped plan and supervise the shooting of VFX plates on location for feature film The Twelve Lives of Sissy Carlyle, also helped with finding VFX interns, and some of the trickier compositing shots. Feature was released in 2017.

Guided students through the program and served as portfolio advisorIn almost nine years facilitating this program it consistently ranked strongly across the top of the Art Institutes in both student persistence and hire rate post-graduation. I survived until the fourth round of layoffs, when my position was eliminated.
Motion Designer and Visuals Projectionist
Luminocity Entertainment Division, Atlanta GA Nov 2013 – March 2017
Worked with the Luminocity creative team to develop, execute and project video and animation for projection mapping with live performers on a per-project basis. Created projected LED-branded animations for corporate clients. Created and projected motion graphics live, and DJ’d for City of Duluth’s Allie Award-winning Howl on the Green Halloween 2014. Created iconic James Bond themed motion graphics for an Allie Award-winning event for the Atlanta Entrepreneurs Organization. Animated and edited a century long look back at the TAPPI organization’s history decade by decade for their Centennial Gala. I wasn’t always at the party, but I was always part of making the show spectacular!
